Teresa began her career in Washington D.C. as a health policy analyst for the National Governors Association. During her time in D.C., she worked in several government relations and public policy roles for the American Health Care Association, the trade association representing nursing facilities and assisted living care providers, and for Underwriters Laboratories, a global safety certification company. Prior to joining NADP, Teresa lived in San Francisco where she worked for Pacific Business Group on Health, representing a broad coalition of consumers and purchasers seeking to influence the improvement and re-design of the health care system. She went on to lead the legal and compliance department of a nationwide telehealth network of providers of clinical services to educational organizations. Teresa earned her B.A. in Political Science from Baylor University and her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
